Yesterday we had a phone call from a customer who wants to install a new kitchen. His list of “extra” fixtures was not a surprise, as most of our customers renovating their kitchens want the best of the best! Our response was “no problem”!
As we went through the list though, I could see some potential hurdles which our client didn’t foresee.
One of the more extreme hurdles was a new island kitchen bench which needed extra drainage & hot & cold water pipes installed under the concrete slab. Once I pointed out the process of cutting up the concrete slab and jackhammering and removing the existing concrete he started to understand that the process of renovating was not as simple as he first thought. Needless to say he was delighted when he was reassured we could handle these types of problems that pop-up during renovation time!
So far our plumbers at Blackjade Plumbing have cut up and jack hammered the concrete floor, laid new hot and cold water supply pipes for the new island kitchen, installed a new drainage pipe for the new island kitchen bench, installed extra hot and cold water supply pipes and drainage pipes for the new butlers kitchen, installed a new water pipe line for their brand-new very fancy icemaker water purified fridge, and installed a new ventilation pipe for the extra kitchen.
So far the plumbing for the new kitchen is looking awesome! We will keep you posted once the job has been finished completely and send in some photos of the finished product.
